Quick update on the diva

This morning I put Gracie's silver ballet flats on her tiny feet (we've had them since December) and watched her stumble around the house for 2 minutes. I went back to her closet and got the same shoes she wears everyday to school and said, "I'm sorry, no silver shoes today. They're STILL way too big."

We sit down and begin to take the silver shoes off... MELTDOWN.  She has an absolute fit over the way too big silver shoes. Who is this girl? Me?

Isn't it crazy that you don't have to teach girls that if a pair of shoes are very cute, it doesn't matter if they are not at all your size or if you absolutely cannot walk in them - you still want to wear the fab shoes instead of the comfty old ones.

Oh, I love her!
